Nanny McPhee

After weeks and weeks..... and weeks - I finally lost my tooth! It was so wiggly and it hung there all crooked, I looked a little like Nanny McPhee. Mom tried to pull it out twice for me. She pulled with all her might, but it just would not come out. It fell out this morning all by itself while I was brushing my teeth! I can't wait to go to sleep so that the Tooth Fairy can come!

eggs

Mom put a pot on the stove with 4 eggs in it. She turned it on and forgot about the eggs and continued doing school with me and Noelle and Bergen. It was science Wednesday and we were going to do an experiment, but instead we learned what happens to eggs when you forget them on the stove - they explode!

oatmeal blueberry muffins

Today mom and I made blueberry muffins. I did most of it all by myself!
First I preheated the oven to 425 degrees F, then I got to work mixing all the ingredients.
I made sure that I followed the recipe!
But we were out of milk, so we used water instead and hoped that it would work!
One of the best parts of baking is when I get to crack the eggs from our very own chickens.
 Next, pour in the blueberries.
Mix it well!

Bake them for 25 minutes....

and enjoy!

Eggaline

One sunday the chickens escaped from their yard so Tate went outside to put them back, but one chicken named Eggaline (my chicken) was left behind because Tate didn't see her. When we went to lock them up for the night that is when we noticed that she wasn't there. We looked and looked but we could not find her. We hoped we would find her in the morning. All night she was outside. I cried and cried. The next night when Mom was doing the chickens she thought she saw something move by the gate - it was Eggaline! Mom came up to the house and yelled, "EMMA". I came down. When I saw Eggaline I ran down the stairs and hugged her. Then we all put on our boots and put Eggaline back safely in the chicken coop. And that is how we found Eggaline, after thinking she was gone for good. I wish she could talk and tell me all about her adventure.
